Vith post: from vancouver to edmonton via the rest of canada...

VIth post... how dope does that roman numerals make my blog look.. you know you love it.. i seem ultra intelligent while the rest of you farrow your brows in a vane attempt to fathom the sheer brilliance of my intellect..

anyway im in edmonton now which is in the next province accross from BC.. a few interesting facts about edmonton alberta..

1. its the richest city in north america due to the abundance of oil here..
2. alberta, the province which houses edmonton, has the second largest supply of oil outside the middle east..
3. west edmonton mall is the biggest in north america..
4.. it snows in winter time
5. like the rest of canada they drive on the wrong side of the road
6. the sky is blue
7. and generally the water is wet..
8. and the mall has a rollercoaster in it.. THE LARGEST INDOOR ROLLERCOASTER IN NORTH AMERICA.. (edmonton is the city with all the records) funnily enough epic was telling me that a few years ago the coaster de-railed, hit a pole and killed three people.. that was a chronic story..

so anyway im chillin with epic and lindsay in their apartment in south edmonton. so far its been dope.. epic is a rapper that i listened to back in melbourne so its kinda sweet im hanging out at his place.. im heading out to winnipeg for saturday night.. then probably coming back to saskatoon.. then going back to winnipeg the following saturday to catch some shows.. see some of canadas finest rappers.. and a massive 2 on 2 mc battle that will later be turned into a DVD.. which will be mad to say i was there..

im starting to miss home a little.. not so much been home.. but the fact i dont need to worry about where im staying in the next week.. thats a stress and a half.. but its all part of it..

now about the bus ride from vancouver to edmonton...

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

put it this way.. when im in winnipeg for the last show im seeing which is on the 12th of feb.. im flying back to vancouver.. hands down.. the greyhound was shocking..

i left at night so i didnt get to see any of the rockies so there was nothing good about it.. there was a guy that sat next to me.. accross the isle.. that wouldnt stop snorthing and grunting like an animal.. and he was a rude prick as well.. he'd be reading the paper.. snorting.. and spitting.. then exclaim the paper he was reading was some "faggot shit" and then he'd go to sleep with his dirty arse feet resting on the seat next to me..
i dont know if it was the lack of sleep.. the nerves of solo travel.. the fact i stank badly.. or the general agnst of bus travel.. but i wanted to hurt that man.. i wanted to punch him in the face.. but he woulda rolled me.. he'd have that red neck rage that i couldnt posses.. he'd be wailing on me pretending i was his sister or something..

so the bus trip took an extra 5 hours because there where bridges out in BC because of the rain.. so we had to go via calgary.. which is way out of the way.. it was pretty bad..

i am going to bus from edmonton to winnipeg.. winnipeg to saskatoon, then saskatoon back to winnipeg.. but those trips are only 10, 5, 6, hours respectively.. or there abouts.. so that isnt as bad as nearly an entire day on the bus.. with stinky rednecks..

on the plus side i did see some mad scenary.. unfortunately i was trying to sleep so i only got a couple of photos but i will add them later..

aaahhh this post sucks.. but its a post none the less.. im looking forward to getting back to vancouver tho.. it reminds me of melbourne.. people are getting kinda crazy out here in the prairies..
